Terms and Conditions
When you book with Camp Go, these Terms and Conditions and other information such as our FAQs and Policies and Procedures document define the agreement between us and let you know what to expect from Camp Go and what we expect from you. 1. Agreement
The agreement between you and Camp Go will commence when full payment is made and is when these booking conditions take effect from. You are responsible for ensuring any parent/carer relating to this booking is aware of, and accepts, these booking conditions.
2. Payment
You can make a payment via our online booking system. Camp Go accepts payment by all major debit or credit cards and mobile payments via Apple Pay and Google Pay. There are no charges for debit/credit cards and Camp Go does not store any card details. Places can only be allocated upon receipt of full payment.
3. Booking Confirmation
Bookings placed online or by telephone will be confirmed via email once full payment has been made. If for some reason you do not receive an email, please check your junk mail, or contact us. Please check the booking confirmation email carefully to ensure the dates, location and details are correct. If your booking is incorrect in any way, please email or call us immediately.
4. Changes to your Booking
You can change booking dates up to 14 days before your child is due to attend, subject to availability. Any request for changes to your booking must be made in writing by emailing info@campgo.pt.
5. Cancellations
Please email info@campgo.pt if you need to cancel a booking. Cancellations can be made up to 14 days before the start date of your booking. A cancellation fee of 10% will apply to cover costs incurred when your booking was processed. Alternatively, full credit can be issued for future use. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the booking start date.
In the event of camp cancellations due to facility closures or unforeseen circumstances such as power outages, we will either credit your Camp Go account or offer you a full refund.
Please note, that if a child becomes unwell during camp, we are unable to offer refunds or account credits.
6. Changes Due to Unforeseen Circumstances
Camp Go reserves the right to change or cancel any booking at any time due to circumstances beyond our control that prevent us from running the camp as planned. In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible and, where available, offer a suitable alternative, a credit note, or a full refund for the affected dates. Compensation will not be provided under any circumstances.
7. Your Child’s Information
It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that all details provided are accurate, especially full information about each child, including medical, special educational needs, and emergency contact details. Failure to provide this information before camp starts will result in the child not being allowed on camp.
8. Late Collections
Your child(ren) must be collected and signed out by the collection time specified on your booking. If for any reason you are unable to collect by the indicated time, please call the Camp Manager as soon as possible. Two members of staff will wait with your child until they are collected. If late, you will be charged a late pick-up fee of €1 per minute which must be settled before your child can return to camp. Please be aware that we reserve the right to refuse future bookings from parents who continually pick up late.
9. Notice of Absence
If a child will not be attending a scheduled camp day, parents/carers must call the Camp Manager to allow us to update our records.
10. Programme and Activity Amendments
Our website and advertising reflect our activity programmes, but activities may vary due to weather or other factors beyond our control. Not all activities are available at every site or each day, and refunds will not be issued for unavailable activities, as we always ensure a diverse and engaging programme. The daily camp timetable is based on attendance, age groups, and external factors such as weather, and will be displayed in the sign-in area each morning. Please note, that the timetable is a guide and may change.
11. Inclusion and Additional Needs
Camp Go is dedicated to accommodating children with specific needs or medical conditions at our camp, wherever possible. Discussions regarding how to best accommodate individual children at camp will occur on a case-by-case basis. Before your child attends camp, please contact us to discuss how we can provide support. While we cannot offer additional staff to support a child, we allow parents/carers to attend camp to support their child if one-to-one support is required, provided that our standard safeguarding checks are met.
12. Health and Safety
When booking, it is your responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date information. Failure to do so may lead to the child being excluded from certain activities or camp. No refund will be offered in this case. If we cannot meet the child's needs, we reserve the right to decline/cancel a booking or refuse entry to camp. If your child is ill please do not bring them to Camp until they are well and have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours to ensure illness or infection does not spread at camp. If we deem your child too ill to attend, we reserve the right to refuse participation in Camp until the child has been symptom-free for at least 24 hours.
13. First Aid
If an accident occurs at camp, qualified first aiders will administer necessary care, and emergency services will be contacted if needed. Essential prescribed medication, including adrenaline auto-injectors, must be given to the Camp Manager each morning for safekeeping. All medication must be in date, clearly labelled and prescribed for the child by a healthcare professional. Camp Go reserves the right to refuse access or send a child home if they lack necessary medication. Camp Go will always require the medication to be signed in on a Medication Form.
14. Child Protection
Camp Go is legally obligated to safeguard children, and any indication of child abuse or neglect will be investigated and reported to the relevant local authority.
15. Insurance and Liability
Camp Go does not accept liability for personal injury or death of any person unless directly caused by the proven negligence of the company or its staff, in this event, our personal accident insurance provides cover of up to 15,000 Euros.
16. Personal Property
Camp Go will not take responsibility for the loss or damage of any items of personal property brought onto the camp. We encourage parents and guardians to check their child’s belongings at collection each day. A lost property box will be available for parents to look through for any missing items. At the end of each camp season, any unclaimed lost property will be left at the camp location.
17. Photography and Video
Please be aware that Camp Go occasionally takes photos and videos of children on camp for promotional purposes. When booking, you are given the option to provide your consent for photos and videos of your child to be taken on camp. Any changes to your consent must be emailed to info@campgo.pt.
18. Child Exclusions
Camp Go reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking or require parents to remove their child from camp, either for the remainder of the day (partial exclusion) or for the rest of the season (full exclusion). Reasons for exclusion may include inappropriate or dangerous behaviour, illness, bullying, lack of full toilet training, repeated late pick-ups, and insufficient English comprehension that compromises the safety of the child or others at camp. No refund will be provided for the excluded day or remaining booked days and no compensation will be offered for incurred costs or losses.
19. Complaints
At Camp Go, we are committed to providing exceptional care for every child and strive to ensure an amazing camp experience for all. If you or your child have any complaints or concerns, please talk to the Camp Manager promptly to allow us the chance to resolve any issues. We take complaints very seriously and can almost always resolve them. In the unlikely event that your complaint cannot be resolved, you may wish to use our electronic complaints book via our website. Refunds and compensation will only be made if Camp Go is proven to have been in breach of these terms and conditions and unable to remedy the situation, resulting in the child's withdrawal from camp.
