Camp Go operates throughout all the school holidays including February Half Term, Easter, May Half Term, Summer, October Half Term, and Christmas.
-
Camp Go welcomes children from all schools and countries. To ensure their safety and well-being, participants should have a basic understanding of English to communicate with staff and follow instructions.
-
We accept children and teenagers from 3-14 years of age.
-
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept children who are not fully toilet trained and out of nappies or pull-ups. We understand that accidents can happen, so if your child occasionally needs an extra set of clothes, please provide them, and inform one of our onsite staff.
-
Drop-off and collection times may vary depending on location. Our standard drop-off time is from 8:30am to 9:15am, and collection is between 4:00pm and 5:30pm. However, early club is available from 8:00am to 8:30am for an additional €5 per day, and late club is available from 5:30pm to 6:00pm for an additional €5 per day. Please be aware that additional fees will apply if collection occurs after 6:00pm (see terms and conditions for more information).

Children aged 11 and older can sign themselves in and out of camp with parental/guardian permission. Parents must grant permission in writing to Camp Go indicating a time to expect the child on camp and a time that Camp Go should release the child at the end of the day. This written consent must be emailed to info@campgo.pt stating the child's name, prior to the camp opening or be given to the Camp Manager in a written letter by the authorised adult on the child's first day.

Children are grouped with others of a similar age. This can vary slightly depending on the number of children attending each week. The typical age groups are 3-5 years old, 6-8 years old, 9-11 years old, and 12-14 years old.
-
If your child would like to be grouped with their sibling or friend, please email us in advance. We will do our best to accommodate requests, however we cannot guarantee each one. Both children must be within a one-year age difference and in the same school year group. Please note that some activities have a minimum age restriction for safety reasons.
-
Each day has 6 activities, each lasting 50 minutes long. We offer a wide range of activities which vary day-to-day. Throughout the day, there is a short morning break, a lunch break, and a short afternoon break. Visit our Camp Programmes Page to see our example timetables.
-
All timetables are planned with a wet weather alternative, which means that most activities can proceed indoors. While some activities may not be suitable for indoor settings, we'll make every effort to reschedule them later in the week.
-
When booking, please provide as much detail as possible about medical conditions and medication. If your child requires medication to be administered to them during camp, you will be asked to complete a Medical Administration Form on their first day. This will detail the medication being kept onsite and how often it should be given.
-
There is always at least one qualified paediatric first aider on site who is trained to deal with accidents and illnesses. Accidents are documented on an "Accident Form," which you will be asked to sign during collection. In the event of a more serious accident or incident, we will contact you by phone.
-
If for any reason your child is unable to attend camp, please inform us as soon as possible. You can call us on (+351) 937 459 667 or email info@campgo.pt. If your child is ill please do not bring them to Camp until they are well and have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours to ensure illness or infection does not spread at camp. Unfortunately, if your child cannot attend camp due to illness or injury, we will not be able to offer a refund. However, we will happily view the missed days as credit, but a doctor’s note must be provided within 14 days to enable us to authorise this.
-
We welcome children with special needs and are happy to work with parents/carers to ensure the child can join in as much as possible and have an amazing time. However, please be aware that we cannot offer one-to-one support. If your child has their own carer, they may accompany them to camp, subject to our usual safeguarding checks. For inquiries regarding support for your child, please email info@campgo.pt.
-
Lost property will be displayed daily during camp sign-in and sign-out. You are welcome to inspect misplaced items, even if your child’s time at camp has ended. Naming items makes returning them to children much easier. If named items are found on camp, our staff will try to contact you to collect them before camp closes. At the end of each camp season, any unclaimed lost property will be donated to charity.
-
Most of our staff speak both English and Portuguese. Our staff are selected for their experience, qualifications, positive attitude, and passion for working with children. All staff undergo a thorough recruitment process, including criminal record checks and training in our Camp Go program. This ensures that your child is in capable hands and provides you with peace of mind.
